Parnell Rose Garden roses in full bloom, setting the perfect backdrop allowing the arts & crafts market, musical entertainers and artists to show of their talents in Auckland.

What a glorious two days, all the elements of nature working together to craft the perfect staging of what was to become a very successful Parnell Rose Garden Festival and craft market event.

Two perfect spring days allowed the roses to bloom and parade there amazing range of colour and plumage with pride.

As I walked amongst the rose bushes I could smell the gentle perfumed fragrance of hundreds of rose bushes as it wafted slowly across the gardens, while in the background artist and musicians played to the crowds of families sitting on the open lawns basking in the warm summer sun.

The arts & crafts market stands were a buzz with interested browsers and know one went hungry with the corridor of food stands that presented there delicious culinary delights. All in all a very successful event.
